The city of Ottumwa will be holding a farewell reception for outgoing city officials next week.
The reception will take place next Monday from 4-6 PM at the Bridge View Center. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
The officials being honored are Mayor Tom Lazio who served eight years as Ottumwa’s Mayor and City Council members Holly Berg, Matt Dalbey, and Bob Myers. Berg will be completing a four-year term, Dalbey will be finishing his second term after eight years on council, and Myers is leaving two years into his current term. Myers served 12 years in a previous stint with the city council. Each of the outgoing officials’ terms ends on January 3rd.
