The Scouting Trailblazer Award Recognition ("STAR") is a Mid-Iowa Council Boy Scouts of America fundraising event, ensuring the life-long values and strong foundation of the Scout Oath and Law. It's a unique event featuring the presentation of the "North Star Award" (the highest award a non-registered adult can achieve for service they provide to Boy Scouts of America). The event will include an opportunity for guests to make donations that will, for example, sponsor a Scout for a year/send a Scout to camp and/ensure a Scout has the uniform they need.
All proceeds will fund Scouting programs (for boys and girls) within the 27 counties served by Mid-Iowa Council.
