Known for merging their country roots with strong melodies and rich vocals, Lonestar, comprised of Drew Womack (lead vocals, guitar), Michael Britt (lead guitar, backing vocals), Keech Rainwater (drums), and Dean Sams (keyboards, acoustic guitar, backing vocals), has amassed RIAA-certified sales in excess of10.5 million records since their national launch in 1995, and achieved ten #1 country hits including "No News," "Come Crying To Me," and their crossover smash "Amazed" (which was also #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the first record since 1983's "Islands in the Stream", to top both charts).
The band's awards include the Academy of Country Music awards for New Vocal Group in 1996, Single and Song of The Year in 2000, along with Humanitarian of The Year in 2002. They also won the Country Music Association's Vocal Group of the Year and International Artist Achievement award in 2001.
Not every musician can revisit and even potentially improve upon their biggest hits. But on 2023’s TEN to 1 record, the award-winning band Lonestar took a fresh look at all 10 of their chart-topping country songs. With these re-recordings, the band members were mindful of striking a balance between preserving the sonic elements fans were familiar with—and not repeating them. Fittingly, TEN to 1 record reflects the ways Lonestar's hits have evolved over the years during the band's rousing, high-energy concerts.
With the release of TEN to 1 record, the band members are full of gratitude for what they've accomplished already, and excited about what the future holds. Bryan White is a CMA, ACM, and Grammy award-winning country music artist, producer, and songwriter. Throughout his prolific recording career, he's charted 21 singles, of which 6 were number 1.
