Bridge View Center and VenuWorks is seeking a dependable and talented part-time Catering & Banquet Supervisor. This person will provide a high level of customer service to our clients, guests, and all we serve. This individual, using clear and concise communication and teamwork, will direct and assist with set-up, logistics, service delivery, and tear-down of assigned events. In conjunction with fellow Food & Beverage team members, will work towards maintaining VenuWorks company standards for excellence and customer satisfaction on catered and concession events.

This is a part-time position. Hours will vary based on event schedule, but typically range from 20-30+ hours per week. Pay rate: $16.00 - $20.00+ per hour and may vary depending on experience, work history, and education.
Applicants should have the ability to perform physical labor and work irregular hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Since our business is event driven, available shifts vary with the requirements of each event. Applicants must be a team player and have a positive attitude since you will be dealing with clients and guests. Customer service is a top priority. Hourly pay based upon work experience and education. Applicant must possess current valid driver's license.

Bridge View Center and VenuWorks is seeking a full-time Sous Chef for a multi-use facility hosting 400+ events annually. Be involved with all the behind-the-scenes work to produce and host events—from wedding receptions to corporate meetings and banquets to trade shows, concerts, and other entertainment events.
The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting with planning and directing food preparation in our kitchen. This will involve a large degree of supervising other kitchen staff, including cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers. As assistant to the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will help with menu planning, inventory, and managing of supplies. Also aid in making sure the kitchen is up to safety standards and that staff are obeying sanitation rules. During mealtimes, it is important the Sous Chef be quick on their feet and be able to make smart decisions instantly.
Ideal candidate will have a Culinary degree and/or a minimum two years of formal culinary/quantity food service production, service, and experience in back-of-house kitchen operations. Ability to work irregular hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Full benefits package, 401K retirement plan, employee stock ownership plan, insurance offered.
